See the picture of Elliott and Brian walking down the hall? Yep, he was pretty excited about the first day - so excited that he was spinning part of the way down the hall! Happy to say that that type of excitement has subsided.

First Day of Kindergarten
Elliott's first day of kindergarten went so well on Wednesday.....his only complaint was the lack of recess! He has a very nice and fun teacher and he's already made a new friend on the bus. He's also very proud of his "tremendous behavior" notes that he's come home with every day this week......I think a trip to Cold Stone is in the works for this afternoon as a reward (plus I'm just hungry for some ice cream). But I really think his favorite thing about being in kindergarten is that he's no longer required to have "rest time" at home - talk about a milestone!

I would love to have "rest time" at my house everyday. Can I go backwards in time?

I can't believe our "babies" are starting to school! I hope Elliot enjoys his time at school, and I hope mom and Ethan enjoy time together as well! I have concluded that this is a good thing, no matter how hard it is to let go!
