My neighbor came to the door this afternoon to show us this turtle that was in the road in front of our house. It was the biggest turtle I've seen outside of the zoo - it was probably a foot long at least.....and chubby and just gross in general. Not sure where it came from but I hope it got wherever it was trying to go!

He's huge. I can't tell if he is a snapping turtle. I don't think so, I grew up around those, they scared me when I was little. Wonder where he came from? Too funny.
Wow, I didn't realize that they had such claws. I think I would be a little scared if I saw one this big.
